One-Minute Chocolate Cake

Sometimes when I’m want something warm and chocolately, I turn to this: One-Minute Chocolate Cake. I found this on and I’d have to say, this usually hits the spot, especially if you have any guilt-free Vanilla Ice Cream or Coconut Ice Cream in the freezer. It’s gluten-free and flourless.


  • 1 oz unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, oil, coconut oil or ghee
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 egg
  1. Melt chocolate, agave and butter in a mug for 30 seconds.
  2. Stir in almond butter.
  3. Whisk in egg until smooth.
  4. Microwave for 1 minute.
  5. Dig in!

  1. There is no cocoa powder in this recipe. It’s unsweetened or baking chocolate that you use. I’m guessing the “bulk” of the cake is the combination of egg and almond butter.
