Fruity Tootie Cherry Smoothie

One day, my daughter and I were feasting on a bowl of cherries. It was hot and we wanted something cool and refreshing. So I looked at that bowl of cherries and said, “Let’s make some Fruity Tootie Cherry Smoothies!” My daughter liked the sound of that. These are sugar-free, fruit-sweetened, gluten-free, and can be dairy-free. Plus, it’s very easy to make!

RECIPE

  • 10 pitted cherries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 3-4 strawberries
  • 1/4 cup milk (cow, almond, soy, coconut, etc.)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp of stevia extract
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract

Toss all the ingredients in a blender and serve.

  1. I bought some frozen cherries at Costco last week, and found your recipe while searching for a smoothie idea to use the cherries. The kids and I are going to give it a try this afternoon. Thanks for sharing!
